Once part of the estate’s plantation quarters, Planters Cottage has been reimagined as a private retreat set away from shared spaces. Simple interiors, a deep bathtub for slow evenings, and a private outdoor cabana tucked into the greenery create a sense of quiet seclusion.

Planters Annexe
A former cowshed reimagined as a small, minimalist cottage. Quiet, private, and set apart from the rest of the property. The Annexe is the most secluded of our four cottages — surrounded by forest, with nothing between you and the valley but open air.
If your idea of a perfect morning is waking up with no plan and no one around, this is your cottage.

Woodhouse Cottage
Our only newly built structure, designed as twin wooden cabins with separate rooms and attic lofts. Surrounded by open lawn and sweeping valley views, the Woodhouse is where families and small groups tend to gather — enough space to spread out, enough beauty to keep everyone outside.
The attic lofts are a hit with children. The valley view from the lawn is a hit with everyone.

Good to know
All cottages include complimentary breakfast and a one-time 4x4 transfer from the pickup point at Mitraniketan / Kurushumala Ashram. Meals are served at The Refectory, our common dining space, with a set menu that changes daily based on what’s fresh from the garden.
Mobile signal is limited on the property. Wi-Fi is not available. This is intentional — and most guests tell us it was the best part of their stay.
